Call asap as time is of the essence and the longer you wait, the more damage the liquid spill can inflict (corrosion, etc.)
○ Payment on completion of repair.
○ Any cancellation of repairs is subject to a diagnostic fee (half the labour charge).
○ For the new slim iMacs (no SuperDrive) (late 2012 onwards – slim screen including the Retina 5K display), if the repair requires a change of hardware (e.g. hard drive), our labour will be £159.
○ If your computer hard drive is faulty or the operating system is corrupted and needs reinstalling and you want to recover your data, there would be an extra charge for these additional/optional services.
○ Your repair will take 1-5 working days. £20 VIP – express service available (same-day repair where possible). If parts need to be ordered, repair may take longer.
If parts are required, you will be contacted with an updated quotation prior to any repair being undertaken, otherwise the repair will proceed without further reference.
The screen on my Macbook died. BITS collected my laptop, diagnosed the fault and replaced the back light cable. It was returned to the office and as they have a mobile credit card reader, I didn’t even have the hassle of driving to them. Excellent service – thanks for the chocolates.
My MacBook Pro died just 2 days before I was going away for a month. I didn't think that there was any chance to get it fixed before I left but I phoned BITS anyway. Within a couple of hours they had come and collected the laptop and in the evening I was phoned with the diagnosis: a faulty disk. By about 11am the next day I got a phone call to say it was fixed and Yosemite installed and by 3pm it had been delivered back to me with a box of chocolates. Amazing!
I have an ageing, but nonetheless pristine IMac (2007) and after advice from yourselves, had extra RAM and a Flash drive fitted to replace original hard drive. Excellent work, the IMac is now better than new in 2007, its never been so fast. Have recommended a colleague to have the same upgrade as you fitted for me. He lives in Australia which is a pity otherwise he would also have come to BITS on my recommendation. Well done, great staff and first class service and work.

Problems with my hard disk on my Mac meant I was going to lose everything, and my backup disk drive was also damaged. Bournemouth IT Solutions dealt with it quickly and efficiently and were very helpful. All my data was saved and they cleaned up my disk drive so when I collected it, I didn't have to re-download applications. If I have another problem they will be my first port of call, and I would highly recommend them.

BITS follows the golden rule for customer satisfaction, under promise over deliver. I needed a new keyboard after water spillage. they quoted approximately 30% less than apple in cost and told me up front it would take 4 days to order the part up to 2 days to repair. While the part was on order i could continue to use my macbook pro at home rather than sending it away which apple would impose, 2 days later they telephoned me at 11am with it's arrival, i dropped it off at 1pm and it was ready by 4pm. I got clarity, honesty, fair pricing, and better than expected time. I would happily recommend and will be using again, i believe these are guys i can trust which is everything in field outside of my own expertise
The screen on my Macbook died. BITS collected the laptop on the same day. Unfortunately it was just before Christmas so I did not get it back until the beginning of the new year. I appreciate this was not the fault of BITS, everyone deserves a holiday, and am sure that the repair would have been promptly dealt with at any other time of year. I was kept fully informed by several phone calls of the time scale problem and the possible/eventual repairs and any extra costs that could be involved. The Macbook was delivered back to me as soon as it had been repaired (together with a complimentary pack of chocolates!). I would certainly use BITS again in the future.
Keep up the good work, you have got the service aspect just right. In some ways I hope that I don't have to use you again as it would mean that I would be having computer problems but if I did have issues with my mac, you would be the first person I would contact.
Competent and friendly service at a reasonable price. They were able to recover vauable data from a crashed disk and diagnose a problem with a macbook computer. I would certainly recommend them to others.
I am so glad I went to Bournemouth IT solutions when my macbook got water damage. I went to many computer repair shops but I was given extortionate quotes for an initial review. Bournemouth IT included a clean in the initial inspection trying their best to fix it without replacing parts. It did need a new part however and I was given a good price for that. I'd recommend anyone who is unsure what to do with a broken laptop to go here, it really was worth it.
The guys at BITS upgraded the Mac OS on my laptop and did a great job, they even cleaned the laptop too! They run a professional and affordable service, one I'd happily recommend to others.
The cheapest quote I had from the several local computer repair companies for both labour and the part required. Despite a hicup in which the wrong part was ordered for my Macbook, I was dealt with very courteously throuhgout. I was provided with a replacement laptop at my home as soon as it was discovered that the repair would take longer and I was given a reduction in labour costs as well.
Macbook air had a broken screen and broken tracker pad button, Bournemouth IT Solutions offered us by far the quickest and most cost effective solution to getting it fixed.. Great customer service, picked up the laptop on Friday and we had it back by Monday. Cannot recommend them enough!!!
Great service. Polite & clever guys. Professional clean building. Would definitely recommend to friends and family, and I'd have no hesitation to use them again. (They replaced the hard drive on my iMac and installed the OS).
