We differ from many other laptop and pc repairers, we perform repairs down to a component level, giving you maximum savings.

  • Valeting – cleaning the computer inside and out
  • Free laptop to use whilst yours is being repaired. Available on request, subject to availability, ID required

 

Your repair will take 2-3 working days, unless parts need to be ordered, then it may take between 3-5 working days. However, screen replacements will only take 24 hours. If parts are required, you will be contacted with an updated quotation prior to any repair being undertaken, otherwise the repair will proceed without further reference.

Cancellation fee:  please note that any cancellation of repairs after instructions have been given is subject to a £25 fee.

BAND A – total cost of repair only £29 (excludes parts if required)

  • 1. Laptop webcam not working
  • 2. No sound (due to software problem). See also no. 44
  • 3. Windows password recovery / removal. See also no. 24
  • 4. Data backup / restore or transfer from hard drives. See also no. 32 & 47
  • 6. Laptop keyboard not working (if required, new laptop keyboard is approximately £19)
  • 5. DVD, Blu-ray or CD drive not working (if required, new DVD drive is approximately £29, Blu-ray £69)

BAND B – total cost of repair only £39 (excludes parts if required)

  • 10. Virus, Trojan, Spyware and Malware removals. See also no. 34
  • 11. Wireless / internet problems (if required, new wireless card is approximately £19)
  • 12. Damage report for an insurance claim (payment refunded if we carry out the repair)
  • 13. Touchpad and or buttons not working (if required, touchpad / buttons is approximately £19)
  • 14. Overheating, possible vibrations and noisy fan (if required, laptop fan is approximately £29)
  • 15. Laptop screen replacement for cracked, smashed or broken screen. Prices for new screens approximately are:   £49 for sizes 8.9″, 10.1″, 11.6″ and 12.1″.       £59 for sizes 14.1″, 15″, 15.6″ and 16″.       £69 for sizes 11.1″, 13.3″, 14″.       £79 for sizes 15.4″ and 17″

BAND C – total cost of repair only £49 (excludes parts if required)

  • 20. Hinge repair / replacement
  • 21. Windows software-reinstallation
  • 22. No backlight, dim / dark screen (if required, parts (inverter) approximately £19)
  • 23. Xbox repairs: red ring of death (3 flashing red lights) & E74 (1 flashing red light). Parts approximately £9
  • 24. Windows problems including login and profile issues, software error messages such as “internet explorer stopped working” and updates problems. See also no. 3

BAND D – total cost of repair only £59 (excludes parts if required)

  • 30. Computer crashing / freezing
  • 31. Blue screen of death / error codes / error messages
  • 32. Data recovery from bent, snapped or broken USB memory sticks. See also no. 4 & 47
  • 33. Display issues: powers up with distorted or no display, blank screen, white, black, flickering, fuzzy, coloured bars or lines on screen.
  • 34. Full Computer Service: a comprehensive service which will speed up slow laptops & computers and ensure that they are working to their full potential by removing Viruses, Trojans, Malware & tuning-up the hard drive. See also no. 10
  • 35. Laptop / computer not booting up or freezing during start-up (and other start-up issues). Please note that if your laptop or computer does not boot up, this does not necessarily mean that the hard drive is faulty and or that it needs replacing. You will need hard drive replacement only if it is physically faulty (e.g. bad sectors). The problem could be caused by a corrupted operating system ‘Windows’, which may simply need re-installing.

BAND E – total cost of repair only £69 (excludes parts if required)

  • 40. Liquid damage or spillage
  • 41. Motherboard repair / replacement
  • 42. A dropped or smashed laptop, notebook or netbook
  • 43. Battery not charging (due to faulty hardware component on motherboard)
  • 44. No sound (due to faulty hardware component on motherboard). See also no. 2
  • 45. Power problems: laptop / computer not turning on, randomly switches off , keeps shutting down, continuously restarts
  • 46. Broken / wobbly laptop power socket (DC jack), USB port, LAN port (internet port) or audio jack. Parts approximately £5
  • 47. Data recovery of deleted, missing or inaccessible files, documents, photos and videos from failed, unhealthy or damaged internal hard drives, external / portable  hard drives, USB memory sticks, SD cards, flash drives or camera memory cards. (if required, hard drive circuit board is approximately £19). See also no. 4 & 32
