Cancellation fee:  please note that any cancellation of repairs after instructions have been given is subject to a £25 fee.

Hardware Upgrades £29 (parts are not included)

For example, hard drive replacement, upgrading your hard drive by cloning your hard drive to a bigger size drive. Windows will not need to be re-installed, so you will not lose any of your existing files, programmes or settings.

Software Upgrades £49 (parts are not included)

Upgrading your system from Windows XP or Vista to Windows 7.

Tasks to be carried out during the Full Computer Service include the following:

• Full Malware scan and removal – helps protect your computer from security threats and loss that can affect your personal and sensitive data: we run an in-depth scan on your hard drive(s) to ensure all Viruses, Trojans, Spyware & Adware and any other malicious software are found and removed from your system.
• Full system health check – finding potential problems before they start: we perform a full system health check on your computer to ensure that your computer and its components are in good working condition. You will benefit from our half-yearly health check, which will keep your computer running at peak performance.
• Hard drive optimisation – will speed up your computer: scan and check your hard drive is functioning properly and efficiently, ensuring it is free of clutter, defects, errors and bad sectors. This optimisation ensures that your computer will perform at its best possible capability.
• Valeting – maximising the life of your computer: we undertake a safe and thorough clean of your computer inside and out to make it free of dust & dirt and also check the smooth running of fans that keep your computer from overheating, which can cause failure.
• Overheating precautions - we monitor your motherboard, CPU, hard drive and the computer’s working temperatures to ensure it is being kept at its coolest possible operating temperature. The factory installed provision to prevent overheating can, in time, become less effective and put the item at risk. We can install precautions to safeguard your computer again.

Custom built PCs are based either on your specifications or to one that we feel would best suit your needs.
