As per government guidance, we have returned to our normal operating hours. Regardless of this, please ensure you still maintain a 2 meter distance between yourself, and all individuals in our store for everyones safety. Whilst government advice has changed, the risk is still present.
As BITS are the biggest repair store in the area, we provide a vital service for our customers to keep them running during the COVID-19 pandemic. As the majority of the population are working from home, operating such a service helps keep them online and able to work, and provide for themselves and family. We have had long-time customers asking us to stay open before the situation worsens in order to ensure their devices are in working order so they can continue to work from home (including NHS key workers).
We are now also extending our 15% labour discount to NHS services as well as 999 services, including all services but not limited to the Ambulance Service, Police, Fire Service, and all other first responder (coastguard) and blue light services such as NHS Blood, Blood Bikers, and so on.
On 30th January 2020, WHO declared the outbreak of COVID-19 a “Public Health Emergency of International Concern” (PHEIC). Based on current evidence, the main symptoms of COVID-19 are a cough, a high temperature and, in severe cases, shortness of breath. An average healthy person may be ‘asymptomatic’ and not know they are carrying the virus. Therefore, please practice social distancing and do not approach our customers or staff closer than 2 meters (6ft).
Should you have any of those symptoms, or symptoms of a flu, please self isolate as per NHS guidelines, and do not enter our store to protect our customers and staff.
